Our Trip to Sheffield Park

The sun was shining on Easter Sunday (the sun? Yes – the sun!) so we decided to head over to Sheffield Park, near the Bluebell Railway in East Sussex, for a wander around as new National Trust members.

The park was gorgeous and very beautifully landscaped. As it was Easter Sunday it was very busy – with lots of children participating in the National Trust Easter Egg Hunt (which I had to stop Nick from entering… “But we have a child” “Yes, but she doesn’t even know what an Easter egg is yet!”) It was a little chilly in the shade, but almost warm in the sun, and for a foolish moment I thought spring might be upon us! Anyway, I used the visit as an opportunity to take some photos of something other than Busby, and thought I’d share them with you.

I can’t wait to go back when the weather’s a little warmer, as it did get pretty chilly halfway round! Come on Spring!
