Review: Disney Store Thumper Luxury Dress

When I was little I wanted to be Belle from Beauty and the Beast (I sort of still do… I’m trying to convince Nick that we could have a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding; he’s not massively enthusiastic about the idea), and I’m sure most of us have dreamed about being a Disney Princess at some point in our lives. So when I was asked whether I’d be interested in reviewing the Thumper Luxury Dress I was a little bit excited. I’ve got to admit that I’m not always the biggest fan of Disney themed clothes, as they can be a bit too “Disney-fied”. However, I thought this dress looked like a real Disney Princess Dress, so how could I resist?

Doesn’t Busby look cute in it? The dress is beautiful, with layers of fabric to give it a fuller effect. I love the peter pan collar, and the raised fabric roses on the waistband. It even comes with Princess pants!

The back of the dress is gorgeous; it fastens with three buttons and then ribbon to tie in a bow.

The only thing I’m not so keen on is the Thumper motif, otherwise it would make a perfect bridesmaid/flower girl/special occasion dress. However, it’s still very cute, even with the motif.

Obviously, with a baby wearing the dress, it needs to wash well; so far so good. It also gets the Busby stamp of approval for tastiness.

The Thumper Luxury Dress costs £30 and can be found on the Disney Store website
