Busby

The Caterpillar

Last week was crazy, what with starting my postnatal class, my Mutti’s birthday, baby massage, and then Busby’s op… I’m not entirely sure where the week went! In Friday’s post (about Busby’s Pre-Op Spa Day on Thursday) you may remember me talking about something new and exciting that Busby did. I’ve been waiting until Monday to share so I could link up to Magic Moments again.

So Thursday… we got back from the lovely baby massage session that Busby adored, and we were having some tummy time on the bed after a nappy change. Suddenly Busby started moving herself along, emulating what can only be described as a caterpillar! Slowly at first, but quickly building up momentum – so much so that I had to get off the bed pretty sharpish so she could continue on her merry way! Talk about a proud Mutti!

Photo taken just before she starting doing the caterpillar!

Post-op she’s not allowed to do any “strenuous exercise” for two weeks… However, I can already see her itching to get moving again, so I’m not sure how long the strenuous exercise restriction will last…!!

It’s absolutely magical when they do new things. And a caterpillar? Maybe you have a future breakdancer on your hands πŸ˜‰
