“There she rolls!”

I am pleased to announce that Busby can now flip herself over from front to back, AND from back to front. She still needs a little assistance with the latter (a conveniently placed arm or hand from Mummy or Daddy), but she’s pretty much there. The look on her face once she’s flipped herself is hilarious; a total look of shock!

Yesterday morning she managed to launch herself off my legs in bed (don’t worry – onto the mattress, not the floor!), and roll onto her front and then back onto her back.

Obviously I’m stupidly proud of her as this signifies further development; she’ll be crawling before too long (she’s definitely trying during tummy time!). I’m sure I’ll be cursing her swift movement in the months to come; when I lose her underneath the kitchen table after turning my back for a minute, for example. But for now I’m loving watching my little baby girl turn into a moving, babbling, older baby.
