Busby is a very active baby who constantly wants to be on the go, so when I was offered a Lindam Jump About™ Bouncer to review I thought this would be the perfect baby product for her!
We started using the bouncer when Busby was around four months. Initially she wasn’t sure about the Bouncer, and would just hang there, but since having her operation she’s enjoying it a lot more, and has even started bouncing… or what I would consider hopping. Check out the video* below!
So what did I like about the Lindam Jump About™ Bouncer? The main thing I like about the Bouncer is that Busby seems to have fun in it. She loves standing, and this allows her to do so without Mummy or Daddy supporting her. It’s also fabulous for her development and co-ordination.
What didn’t I like about it? The velcro harness makes Busby jump in fright as it’s so loud, which isn’t particularly conducive to a happy bouncing experience. The doorway thickness is pretty slim, and if you’re living in an old house that has thicker walls it’s difficult to find a door frame that will fit. Getting Baby into the harness and then attached to the Bouncer is a bit of a faff, and involves arms, knees, hands…
I can definitely see Busby’s love for the Bouncer increasingly in the coming months once she’s gotten used to the fact that she has hands and feet (“What ARE these things?”), and she can use them effectively.
The Lindam Jump About™ Bouncer retails at £19.99 RRP; further details can be found on the Lindam website.
