Afternoon tea in the garden

Just a short post from me this evening as we’ve had a lovely day enjoying the sunshine as a family!

This afternoon we enjoyed afternoon tea in our garden, with some yummy lemon drizzle cake. Busby grabbed some off my plate – but luckily I caught it before it went in her mouth!

She has also now decided that she doesn’t want to drink out of a cup or bottle with a lid, and that she wants to join in with Mummy and Daddy and drink out of a (plastic) cup! This has ended in much hilarity and water down her front, but she seemed unperturbed by the whole experience. We (obviously) didn’t actually let her drink from the ceramic mug in the photo as it contained remnants of coffee, but she was happy to hold and pretend!

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful day in the sunshine! We’re off to Nymans again tomorrow for a picnic with friends.

Days like this out in the garden with little ones do takes me back. Some of my happiest memories of mine being so young were times just like this. Beautiful moments to cherish. Loving the photo, she will be drinking from that cup for real before you know it! Thank you for sharing on Country Kids.
