Now we’re weaning Busby is drinking less milk, so it’s very important that she’s still getting enough water. I couldn’t wait to try out the Munchkin 8oz Click Lock™ Trainer Cup, as had heard great things.
Busby really enjoys drinking water, but isn’t so keen on using a spout! She likes to copy me and drink straight from a cup (I told you she was a diva). However, the first time I handed her the Munchkin trainer cup she held it correctly and was intrigued!
What I love most about the trainer cup is that it doesn’t leak; it’s fantastic to use on the go for this very reason. I can pop it in the pocket on my changing bag and not fear that I’m going to end up with soggy contents!
I also love that the spout is soft, as it’s very kind to teething gums. Busby likes to chew on it when it’s full of cold water, as it soothes her sore mouth.
Other things I like about the trainer cup:
– It’s very colourful, which is great for baby brain and means that I won’t lose it!
– As I mentioned above, it’s easy for baby to hold.
Busby enjoys the trainer cup to a point, and then wants to go back to drinking straight from a cup without a spout. It’s a great product though, and I would definitely recommend to any mums. The Munchkin 8oz Click Lock™Trainer cup is also very reasonably priced, retailing at only £3.99.
Oh, and it comes apart completely and goes in the dishwasher! Easy to clean? A bonus!
