I’ve been tagged by the very beautiful Lyndsay from Fizzy Peaches – thank you lovely!
So without further ado here we go…
1. Describe your skin care routine in 5 words.
2. What is your skin type?
Definitely combination, with a fun, greasy t-zone and various dry patches that appear in random places throughout the month.
3. What is your favourite skin care product?
At the moment it’s definitely Weleda Skin Food – it just smells so scrummy and makes my skin feel so soft.
4. Top blemish zapper?
Um… fresh air and water? I try not to cover my face in stuff if I have a small outbreak, as experience has proven that fresh air and keeping my face hydrated get rid of anything just as quickly. If my skin is feeling really awful I treat myself to a facial, as that really helps.
5. Face wipes – yay or nay?
Yay! Although do baby wipes count as face wipes? I’m going to go with yes…
6. Toner – yay or nay?
Nay… I received some very lovely, very expensive toner a few weeks ago and it has done nothing but bring my skin out in spots. I was not impressed.
7. High-end skincare or high-end make-up?
High-end skincare. I don’t really wear much make-up if I’m honest… I’m blessed with good skin and don’t feel the need to cake it on. I’d much rather spend money on a nice moisturiser or serum.
8. What was the most unusual skincare product you’ve tried?
I’m copying Lyndsay, but it was definitely the 24ct gold under-the-eye (eye bag) masks from Jamela. I tried them before attending BritMums Live this year and they were awesome!!! Even Nick noticed that my bags were noticeably tighter.
9. You’re in a French Pharmacy and can only pick one item – what would it be?
I have no idea… I’d probably head straight for the nail varnish section!
10. Top skincare tip.
Be kind to your skin – don’t cover it with make-up unless you need to. Oh, and treat yourself to a facial every few months; these definitely help keep your skin in amazing condition. Ooh, ooh! One more – get lots of sleep… if you can!
