The Week That Was: Instagrammed #2
Welcome to week 2 of The Week That Was: Instagrammed. Thank you to all six of you who linked up last week – I was very chuffed! I hope you manage to link up again, and that we have some more lovely posts this week. I love reading everyone’s blogs – new and old – so please do come and say hi!
This week I’ve also included my blog posts from the week in case you fancy catching up.
A quick overview of the “rules” before we continue: Link up a photo post (Instagrammed or not) about your week. You can include products you’ve reviewed; the only exclusions are photos that are inappropriate, so no racism, bullying, homophobia or sexually explicit pics please (although I wouldn’t expect anyone to post these anyway!).
Here we go – my week!
Blog post: The Week That Was: Instagrammed #1
Sunday last week saw the launch of my new linky The Week That Was: Instagrammed! I was so happy that six people linked up, and that others seemed to love the idea.
We found ourselves at the garden centre again, and Nick bought the gorgeous English Heritage rose you can see in the photo below. We also bought the most amazing treacle tart from the baker that sells his wares there. I seriously think it’s the best treacle tart I’ve ever had. Bold statement, ahoy!
Blog post: Review and Giveaway: Personal-planner.co.uk (This giveaway is open until noon on Sunday 14th July 2013)
I decided to head into Brighton on Monday morning as I realised all my pre-Busby dresses don’t fit me the way they used to, and I desperately needed something to wear in this hot weather! After traipsing around the shops for 4 hours (with tea and cake stops, obviously!) I found myself in Primarche *hangs head in shame* and bought three outfits for £30. Not bad really.
I also came across the horrific book below… What is our world coming to?

Root canal: part two. I had to be in Hove (actually) for 8.45am… joy! Nick and Busby met me afterwards for the “baby handover”.
Once we got back to Lewes we headed straight to get Busby weighed; she’s now a hefty 17lbs 1.5oz!
She also had an amazing day in terms of development as she pulled herself up onto the foot rest – fantastic!

We were supposed to go to London to the launch of a new app, but as the weather was scorching I decided to stay in Lewes. Busby isn’t doing so well in the heat, so the train and tube ride wouldn’t have been fun! Instead we ended up at our local open air pool with my Mutti, which was lovely.
I also ate the best carrot cake EVER! Fact.
The amazing bear playgym from Little Bird Told Me arrived to review. I’ve been so excited about this since we were asked to review it a few weeks ago, so set it up as soon as it was delivered. Review to follow.
I also went out for a drink with my bridesmaid Zoe. I love that girl so much! It really helped to talk through wedding stuff with someone that has been through it all before. What a star!

Nick has been on a course in Tunbridge Wells this week, so we decided to join him on Friday morning. I didn’t think that I’d be ready to leave at 8am, but Busby was awake at 4.30am (joy) so we were more than ready!
We found ourselves in Marks and Spencers café for a feed and a read! M&S have also released these yummy vietnamese pork wraps with sweet chilli sauce… yum, and only 150 calories.
What have you been up to this week?
