The Week That Was: Instagrammed #3

Welcome to week 3 of The Week That Was: Instagrammed. Thank you to all ten of you who linked up last week – I was even more chuffed than the first week! I’m happy that the linky is growing! I hope you manage to link up again, and that we have some more lovely posts this week. I love reading everyone’s blogs – new and old – so please do come and say hi!

A quick overview of the “rules” before we continue: Link up a photo post (Instagrammed or not) about your week. You can include products you’ve reviewed; the only exclusions are photos that are inappropriate, so no racism, bullying, homophobia or sexually explicit pics please (although I wouldn’t expect anyone to post these anyway!).

Here we go – my week!

Blog post: The Week That Was: Instagrammed #2
Sunday was a relatively quiet day. We found ourselves at the garden centre again… and may have bought some more treacle tart. It seems to be turning into our weekly Sunday event! I also spent a lot of the day looking for wedding inspiration after finding our reception venue the previous day.

Oh, and I caught up on some things from my to-do list, like wrapping up my Instagram #SummerScarfSwap present ready to be posted the following day.

Blog post(s): The Skin Care Tag and Personal Planner Giveaway: And the winner is!
We had a quiet day on Monday too. It was rather hot, so ventured out in the afternoon to the post office to post the above present. We also went to a few charity shops and I found the Abel and Cole cook book for £2.50!

On Monday evening I made cocktails for Wednesday’s blog post, and found out that I’d been chosen to be a Britax Mumbassador!

Tuesday was a rather exciting day! Busby and I headed into Brighton just after lunch to return something, and ended up having ice cream sat outside Strada waiting for Nick to finish work. We then headed to a hotel in Brighton for a ceremony room viewing!! We LOVED it! But are holding fire on booking, as we have two more ceremony rooms to look at over the weekend.

Busby and I joined my Mutti and my brother for a picnic on Wednesday. It was rather eventful as a pony escaped twice from the adjoining field! Busby also met a horse for the first time and even stroked his nose.

The usual baby swimming on Thursday, followed by a doctors appointment for Busby who has been very constipated again. She’s been prescribed even more medicine, and is hopefully going to be referred to the hospital if it doesn’t improve.

I went out for a drink with one of my best friends and asked him to be one of my bridesmaids, or my bridesman, rather! He said yes!! Hoorah!

Blog post: Beautiful Bumps
Friday was lovely! My friend Laura and her baby E came over for an indoor picnic, (it was too hot in the garden for babies) and then they both had a paddle in the pool once it was a bit cooler!

We also found out that the Registrar is available for our wedding – yippeeeeee!

We went to visit ceremony venue number two on Saturday. It was beautiful, but didn’t have the magic of venue number one. Plus it’s outside… so risky for September!

Then I spent the afternoon writing and scheduling all of my posts up until Wednesday, as I’m in need of a small break from blogging so I can properly concentrate on getting the venues and Registrar booked on Monday. Eek! It’s becoming real now!

I’m also taking part in the #fmsphotoaday: July challenge on Instagram, where Fat Mum Slim has given us a list of words and we have to take photo using that word as a theme every day.
14. Edible: Sexy treacle tart
15. Outside the window: Our steps to the garden
16. Bottle
17. Inspirational: I went with inspiration(al) wedding magazines
18. Number
19. Building
20. Hot: I actually took this photo the day before, as Saturday was chilly!

What have you been up to this week?
