The Week That Was: Instagrammed #8
Howdy! And welcome back to The Week That Was: Instagrammed. Have you had a wonderful week? Thank you to all of you who linked up last week; I hope you all manage to link up again!
The rules are simple: link up a photo post from the week, Instagrammed or not. You can use the same format as below, or you can do your own thing. You can even link up photo posts about one day or one event – they don’t have to be about the whole week.
So my week…
This week has been fairly quiet in the lead up to my birthday, but it’s gone so quickly!!
Blog post: The Week That Was: Instagrammed #7
Sunday was a quiet day, chilling out as a family. A giant bumblebee flew into Busby’s bedroom and had a sunbathe on her curtain.
I spent the evening working out how to do drop down menus in Blogger, and I’m pretty proud of the results.
Blog post: Figuring out HTML
Gosh! Monday was slightly crazy! I had to go up to London to sort out Busby’s passport, which was very strange… Think Argos but with metal detectors and organised by the government. We were all going to go up, but it made more sense for a quick turnaround if I just went.
We then headed to Brighton for a spot of shopping when I got home, as I wanted to find some things to wear to on my return to work. I didn’t find much as a large amount of fashion seems to involve random holes in random places at the moment… Bring on Autumn!
Busby banged her head whilst sofa cruising in the evening and a big egg came up. I freaked out a little, so we went up to Minor Injuries at the top of our road. (We always seem to live near hospitals! I’m drawn to them with my clumsiness.) We were seen very quickly though and everything was fine – just a bump to the head.
Blog post: Busby: 8 Months
Busby turned 8 months and it was her first day at Nursery! She did so well and lasted the whole day. I was very proud!!
I spent the day drinking as much hot tea as possible. I also sorted out the green beans and weeded the garden, which was rather cathartic.

Busby’s new pushchair arrived for our trip to Lille in September, so we took it to the park for a test drive. She had a lovely crawl in the grass, which she doesn’t really get to do at home as our garden is teeny!
Blog post: Review: Bibisili Bib and What’s in Busby’s Trunki?
A lazy day at home full of cuddles! Busby has been getting more and more vocal recently so we had a few “conversations”. We also waited for the postman to deliver exciting post and packages… including Busby’s passport!

My Birthday Eve!
Another fairly lazy day at home. I got lots of washing done as the weather is due to turn… what has my life become?
Busby spent the day crawling and pulling herself up… Oh, and tooth number 5 arrived!
What have you been up to this week?
I hope you have a fabulous week ahead!!
