Climb every staircase!

Busby can now climb our stairs, unaided (well, one of us tentatively stands behind her just in case she falls, so not entirely solo)! Climbing anything is great fun at the moment – the more dangerous the better it appears.

We have a stair gate at the top of the stairs, but we’re going to have to get one downstairs too as I can’t even run (yes run, this is what life is like now) into the kitchen before she’s decided that the stairs would be fun to climb; much more of a challenge without Mummy hovering over me!

Clever girl! Elma keeps looking longingly at ours and I think it’s only a matter of time before we have to start working out where we left the stair gate bolts again!

A great achievement and yes to the extra stair gates. We have stair gates top and bottom in all our holiday properties as we know what little climbers are like!

Such an achievement – and much better that you’ve taught her to do it safely than just not allow her to take that risk! 🙂

    • 26th September 2013 / 1:59 pm

I wouldn’t say we’ve taught her – she just heads towards the stairs and has a go 🙂 xx

Stairs are a whole new adventure! Look out world here I come! We also have stairs gates at the top and bottom of the stairs, I have a feeling they will be there for years.
