Cruising through life

I’ve been wanting to write this post for a couple of weeks now, but every Monday has delivered a different Magic Moment, so this has been put on the back burner!

Anyway, drumroll time…

Busby is cruising! From the arm chair, to the trunk, to the sofa, to the front door – she’s making her way around the living room like a fast little Munchkin. It’s amazing to watch!

Sadly, she is cruising for a bruising (sorry I had to get that in) as she has fallen and bruised herself a few times now! We even ended up in Minor Injuries a few weeks ago; she was fine, but the large egg on her head worried us greatly.

Whilst in France she’s had a growth spurt and is now about 3cm taller, so we’ve discovered that we can’t leave anything on a surface that she can reach… everything is knocked off (she finds this fun?), examined and chucked to the side, ready for the next adventure!

Yay!! This is a fantastic magic moment (apart from the falling and bruising) but that’s all part of them learning 🙂

So sweet. I just love her curiousity (when she is obvioulsy lookig for what’s on the top of the table) and the way her centre of gravity appears to pull her down (I was quite sad when J was potty trained and no longer had chubby little legs and a nappy weighing him down and giving him a teletubby bum).

Isn’t it fantastic when they start to move, something that as parents we really look forward to and then reality hits. Everything has to be moved to a higher level ;0).

Thanks for linking up with Small Steps Amazing Achievements :0)
