Review: Morrisons Little Big Range

Morrisons have recently teamed up with Kiddicare to create their new Little Big range for little people. We were very excited when we were sent a hamper of goodies from the new range to try, and have been putting the products through their paces the last couple of weeks here at Make, Do and Push! Towers.

1. Little Big Comfy Dry Nappies. Prices start from £1.97
We usually use a well known brand of nappies in this household, as Busby tends to sleep through all night now so we need something very absorbent that isn’t going to be uncomfortable for her. I must admit that I was slightly hesitant about putting her in a different nappy to sleep in as (from experience) own brand don’t tend to be as good. However, I was pleasantly surprised by these nappies; the super absorbent core really is super absorbent and they don’t puff up as much as our usual nappy.

What I also find when using own brand nappies is that they have a tendency to leak. We have not experienced one leak with the Little Big nappies; once again I am so impressed!

The Little Big Nappies start at £1.97 for a pack of 27 (size one, newborn nappies); such a great price and are most definitely worth trying.

2. Little Big Swim Pants. £3.27
Unfortunately, we haven’t had a chance to use these yet as we were sent a huge size, but I still wanted to share these with you as once again they are very reasonably priced. Swimming nappies are notoriously expensive, usually costing over £5 for a pack of 12. We attend weekly swimming lessons (and in summer had our padding pool out in the garden), so go through them pretty quickly in this household. The Little Big Swim Pants cost £3.27 for a pack of 10! Amazing!

3. Little Big Extra Sensitive Shampoo. £1.80
Busby sometimes has a very dry scalp, so I was looking forward to trying this shampoo on her. The information on the packaging ticks all the right boxes:
– No-tears formula
– Colour and fragrance free
– With skin-kind aloe extract
– Suitable for eczema prone skin
The shampoo was fantastic and very kind to her skin.

4. Little Big Baby Lotion. £1
I love this lotion; it smells how babies should smell! It’s also super soft and gentle on Busby’s skin.

5. Little Big Top to Toe Baby Wash.  £1
A very useful product for those swifter baths. As with the shampoo, it has a no-tears formula.

6. Little Big Gentle Cleaning Sensitive Toddler Wipes. 70p (pack of 60)
I must admit that these are the only part of the range that I’ve been disappointed with. The wipes tear very easily and aren’t the greatest for cleaning a messy bottom! However, I’ve been using them for mucky faces and hands, and they are fab for this purpose.

7. Little Big Easy Feed Pouch Spoon. £1.99
Such a fantastic invention! I got a little bit excited when I saw these in the box (what has my life become?)… They’ve made eating on the go that little bit easier.

8. Little Big Glow in the Dark Silicone Soothers. £1.97 (pack of 2)
Busby doesn’t use a soother, so we haven’t been able to test these. However, they do look very cute with their animal face design, and they glow in the dark!

Overall, I have been so impressed with the Morrisons Little Big range! Everything is incredibly reasonably priced – fantastic for families on a tight budget. And the best bit? Morrisons have a Money Back Guarantee with these products if you’re not happy with them!
