Photos, The Week That Was: Captured

The Week That Was: Instagrammed #10

Hello! Holy smokes – how is it week 10 already?? Where have the past 10 weeks gone?

Have you all had a wonderful week?

Thank you to all of you who linked up last week; I hope you all manage to link up again!

The rules are simple: link up a photo post from the week, Instagrammed or not. You can use the same format as below, or you can do your own thing. You can even link up photo posts about one day or one event – they don’t have to be about the whole week.

I’m in Lille this weekend, so my week goes Sunday-Friday.

My week…
This is the week that I found my blogging mojo again. After a few weeks of feeling very unmotivated I gave myself a couple of days off from blogging. The space helped and I’ve come back feeling excited for the future of Make, Do and Push!
After a lovely day at the Sealife Centre on Saturday, we had a chilled out day round the house on Sunday. Nothing exciting to report!!

Monday
Blog post: Busby does Brighton Beach
I had good intentions on Monday. Busby and I were going to go for a long walk and explore the Priory ruins in Lewes. However, it somehow got to lunch time and I was still in my pjs…and then it was 3pm…and then Nick got home!

Busby had Nursery, so I went back to bed with the laptop, a cup of tea and a fruit bagel smothered in lemon curd to work on the blog. I spent most of the morning writing and then took to Busby’s bedroom to finish her blank wall.
Once completed I dusted, hoovered and tidied downstairs. Phew! Mutti then arrived for a cup of tea, so we chatted about wedding dresses and went to pick Busby up together.

Nick’s parents came to pick Busby up in the morning for a day of adventures. I did some more writing once they’d gone and then headed to Brighton for some holiday shopping (nothing exciting).
After lunch in the Pavillion Gardens, I had an amazing massage and much needed eyebrow wax by my friend Michelle.
Ooh and I found washi tape in Tiger! Two rolls for £1!!! Such a bargain!

Thursday
Blog post: An Ode to Poo and Stylish Babies
Baby swimming was back on this week! Yay!

Nick’s parents came round in the afternoon and his dad put up our stair gate and bedroom mirror. This might not sound the most exciting of afternoons, but I’ve had that mirror for as long as Nick and I have been together and it’s never made it onto a wall! So this was a big moment!!

Friday
Blog post: Feature and Competition: Win a £50 HomeSense gift card
A day of packing for Lille. Nick’s parents came and took Busby for the afternoon so we had a chance to pack without someone pulling everything out of the suitcase!

I hope you all manage to link up this week. We’re in Lille so I’m hoping for some great photos! Have a fabulous week.

Sounds like you’ve had a great week. We love Brighton, my kids thought the aquarium was brilliant, it’s one of my favourite spots!

Hope you’re having a great time in Lille. Fab photos as always. I’m dying to have a play around with my blog but trying to hold back until we move later this year. Think the change of country might impact how I want things to look and also what I write about. Very exciting 🙂
