With Christmas swiftly approaching the festive season is about to take off! Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Planned your Christmas day schedule? Started your Christmas cake centre piece? No, me neither.
This year is Busby’s second Christmas; last Christmas she was a mere five days old, so her stocking was rather small. I’ve already started perusing the various toy shops for inspiration for this Christmas (and Birthday) and am rather spoilt for choice… I like the idea of a Baby Walker for her, and also something she can push shapes through as she’s recently started to become interested in putting objects in other objects to see how they fit. As well as this she will be inheriting my rocking horse “Rosie”. Rosie was given to me on my first birthday and became a trusted childhood companion, so I can’t wait for Busby to share a similar experience.
As a (relatively) new parent (how much longer can I get away with saying that for?), I have never experienced the anticipation of the Dream Toys list before. Who will make it onto the list this year? I reckon, as a classic, LEGO have a good chance. Oh and apparently Furbies are likely candidates too… I didn’t know we were back in the early 00s?!
