Hello and welcome back to The Week That Was: Instagrammed!
Have you all had a fabulous week?
Thank you to all of you who linked up last week; I hope you all manage to link up again!
The rules are simple: link up a photo post from the week, Instagrammed or not. You can use the same format as below, or you can do your own thing. You can even link up photo posts about one day or one event – they don’t have to be about the whole week.
Has been better than last! Hooray! I still haven’t been myself really, but I’m getting there.
Blog post: The Week That Was: Instagrammed #15
Sunday was a sad day – I was very down and spent a lot of the day upstairs feeling miserable. Nick and Busby went out for lunch with one of his friends and I caught up with some of my freelance work.
Blog post: I live for the applause
Busby and I visited the library in Lewes for Story Time with some lovely mums and babies from our postnatal class. We then headed to Cafe Nero for a cup of tea before I had to go to the Doctor. I’d injured my arm on Saturday throwing a ball for the dogs and it was just getting more and more painful. The Doctor thought I had torn my tricep – although retrospectively I think I just pulled it. I was prescribed some very strong painkillers.

Back to work on Tuesday. I was absolutely dreading it, but it wasn’t as bad as it could have been… Although by the end of the day I never wanted to see another spreadsheet again!

Day two at work…
Wednesday evening was fun! I met some fellow Brighton Bloggers for a drink straight after work and then we headed to Meat Liquor for some dirty burger action! The burger was good… but not as good as The Pelham Arms.

I was so happy to see Busby’s smiling face on Thursday morning; I had missed her terribly! We had baby swimming in the afternoon, which is always lovely.
Blog post: Trendy Tuesday… on a Friday!
Busby and I had a wonderful day on Friday! We went to Monkey Music in the morning and visited my Mutti at work in the afternoon. Lots of smiles and giggles!

On Saturday we headed up to Clapham to watch an adaptation of one of my favourite children’s books “Up & Down” by Oliver Jeffers. We were invited along by the Gaga Theatre Company to review the play, and I was quite excited as this was Busby’s first time at the theatre! Before the play we explored Venn Street Market and came across a very sexy hog roast sandwich and peanut butter brownie. Nom! My task for next week (if I can find the time) is to create a peanut butter brownie recipe… I shall of course post this on the blog!
The play was fantastic – review to follow next week – but I will say that it didn’t disappoint and if you want to buy tickets for their tour of London then you can find them here on their website.
After meeting with the producers and the lovely PR Anna for refreshments post-performance, we met some of Nick’s uni friends for a drink and wander around Clapham Common. It was great to catch up and hear how various wedding plans are progressing etc.
Back to normal next week with #TWTWI being published on a Sunday.
