The Week That Was: Instagrammed #17
Hello and welcome back to The Week That Was: Instagrammed!
Have you all had a wonderful week?
Thank you to all of you who linked up last week; I hope you all manage to link up again!
The rules are simple: link up a photo post from the week, Instagrammed or not. You can use the same format as below, or you can do your own thing. You can even link up photo posts about one day or one event – they don’t have to be about the whole week.
Has been lovely! Shame I had to go to work in the middle…!
Blog post: Busby: 10 Months
Sunday was fairly busy. Nick played squash with my bridesman Mog in the morning and Busby and I explored the charity shops of Haywards Heath. I found an almost brand new coat for £8 and some red jeans for £4!! We then headed into Brighton in the afternoon as Busby needed some bodysuits.

Nick had the day off so we pottered around in the morning and then went out for tea and cake in the afternoon. It was lovely!

Back to work… It took me an hour and 15 minutes to get home and I almost missed bedtime. I had to run from the bus stop home.

At work again… Another journey home that took 1 hour and 15 minutes. I get so angry when this happens as I want to be at home with my baby! I also realised that I had the start of an ear infection when I got home as my ear was throbbing. Boo!
I had some lovely news re my freelancing career in the evening, which put a huge smile on my face!

We had a lovely day on Thursday. It was our last swimming lesson for the foreseeable future as we’ve decided not to continue next term; Bubsy did amazingly well after being thrown in – she swam up towards the surface. Very proud! I was so happy to be able to spend the whole day with her.

Friday was fantastic! Firstly Busby slept for almost 15 hours so I managed to have a lie in, a HOT cup of tea in bed, breakfast, get dressed AND brush my teeth before she woke up!!!
Then my friend Laura and her baby boy joined us for Monkey Music – both babies loved it. After Monkey Music we headed to Bills for lunch and spent a good 3 hours gossiping over some very tasty food. I love that my school friends are starting to have babies too – it’s so true in that you really don’t have any idea what being a parent is like until you’re one too. It’s great having a friend (who I’ve grown up with) that has a baby too… it’s a bit like being in an exclusive (and probably quite boring to anyone on the outside) club!
Saturday was great. Once again Busby slept for almost 15 hours so Nick and I had a lie in (I love than 9am is now a lie in) and another HOT cup of tea in bed! Bliss! I then headed into Brighton on a secret mission as it’s Nick’s birthday soon so needed to buy some things. I also started my Christmas shopping for Busby!
Once I got home I headed out into the garden and tidied up out there; we have a hurricane-like storm heading our way early next week so I didn’t want bamboo canes to be strewn around.
I’ve just got to get through next week and then I’m giving myself 5 days off from everything (excluding Motherhood, of course!) as we’re heading oop North!
