Review: Funky Giraffe Christmas Stocking
Last week the kind folk at Funky Giraffe sent us one of their lovely Christmas stockings to review. We love Funky Giraffe in our household; Busby owns almost the entire collection of bibs and I’ve always been very impressed with their products.
The first thing that struck me about the Funky Giraffe Christmas Stocking is that it’s so soft! It’s very well padded and has a cute snowflake motif on it. I love the white pompom trim and the contrasting red “candy-stripe” fabric at the heel and toe.
The lining is the same green as the top of the stocking, which isn’t the most exciting colour, but certainly makes it look Christmassy. I’m a sucker for a gorgeous lining, however, so was a little disappointed with this.
It’s a good size for a stocking, especially for Busby’s age group (1 year+) measuring 46cm at its longest point. It’s quite slim, measuring about 19cm across, so you’re not going to get anything big in there, but the whole point of a stocking is that it’s for small presents; you’d definitely be able to fit a board book or two in there! (Or a Funky Giraffe of your own!)
The stocking also has a handy loop at the top so you can tie it to the bed or cot, or hang it from the door or on the fireplace.
Overall, I’ve been impressed with the Funky Giraffe Christmas Stocking; it’s a simple product, but well made and very reasonably priced at £8 including postage and packaging.
