Busby, Busby Updates

Busby: 13 months

Well, here we are – 13 months on.

This month Busby has become even more of a little person and is so fascinating to watch!

This month:
Busby has a new molar; one of the top ones… that was a fun night!

Her hair is growing so quickly; it looks like it’s longer every morning. The back of her hair is going curly too – which is gorgeous, and I’m very jealous of it! (Curse you super straight hair!)

She was weighed last week and came in at a hefty 22lbs 9oz, so suffice to say she’s eating well. She’s continuing her fussiness though, which is quite frustrating, but it’s only with fruit really so we’re always coming up with new ways to sneak that into mealtimes.

She isn’t walking yet, but she’s definitely making moves towards it. However, after seeing a little boy running around at Monkey Music last week, I’m not sure I’m ready for her to be walking yet… At least it will aid the wedding diet when the time comes!

Her best friend is currently the washing machine. Although she both loves and fears it, and refuses to look inside in case it swallows her up.

Ah, so cute! No, you don’t want walking, you’re right. At 16 months, Little Man has walking firmly in his skill set, so climbing is now far more interesting – aahh!

Oh gosh – we have so much climbing going on here too! Busby pushes her stool around the room to try and climb on everything! Nightmare! xx

Bless her little face. I might try Busby’s excuse about the washing machine trying to eat me to get out of future laundry chores. Does she have any strong feelings about the vacuum cleaner which I can steal? :p xxx

I’m lucky that our washing machine is behind a door, hidden away! She is such a little cutiepie, these babies need to meet for a play date soon! (& a mummy cake date!)
