The Week That Was: Captured #30

Hello! Welcome to The Week That Was: Captured – just like The Week That Was: Instagrammed, but much broader!

Have you all had a fabulous week?

Thank you to all 22(!!!) of you who linked up last week; I hope you all manage to link up again!

The rules are simple; link up a post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary.

My week…
This week has been one of those yo-yo weeks! I’ve had moments of extreme happiness and moments of total despair. I hate feeling like this; I’d like to be on an even keel, but hey-ho!

It was my penultimate week at work… It felt weird but so good to know I only have a few days left. I keep experiencing those “rose-tinted glasses” moments where I’m not sure whether I’ve made the right decision, but then something happens which swiftly removes the metaphorical glasses from my face!

I’ve found some total bargains this week too! I bought my bridesmaid’s dress in a charity shop for £10; an almost new dress from Coast. Fingers crossed it fits her and looks nice! I also found an amazing skirt in the same shop for £3. Happy days!

We’ve started getting properly organised with the wedding… a possible venue move is hopefully on the cards, so we did some visiting and revisiting this weekend.

 1. Car snoozing (Sunday) // 2. New shoes (Monday) // 3. Nails (Tuesday) // 4. A dubious homemade biscuit from Nursery (Tuesday) // 5. Busby and her best buddy (Thursday) // 6. Brighton is beautiful (Thursday) // 7. Busby in her new banana coat (Thursday) // 8. A seafront stroll (Thursday) // 9. Organising wedding shizzle (Friday)

Gosh sounds like you’ve got so much going on with the wedding and the career change – it must be quite overwhelming at times. My little man is obsessed with the washing machine and dryer too and love Busby’s new shoes. So pretty! x

Love the shoes and your engagement ring is so pretty. Was admiring the nails and it! Both my kids were obsessed with washing machines, kids are so funny. Hang in there. You have made the right decision, changes are scary at the best of times, and you are working hard to deal with anxiety and other things as well. I will link up later, need to get my photos organised.

Ah it will be amazing to be freelance. Not perfect, but amazing nonetheless, I am certain of it. Every kind of employment has its ups and downs but I reckon being in charge of your own time and company, as well as getting to see your sweet girl, will be more than enough to make it worthwhile. Crossing all my fingers in excitement for you! One more week!

Haha the biscuit comment made me chuckle, I’ve had a few dodgy cakes sent home from nursery before – I’m afraid they went in the bin 🙁 I love Busbys clothes she always looks so adorable! Hope your last week goes ok and you get back on an even keel soon 🙂 xx
