The Week That Was: Captured #32

Hi there! Welcome to The Week That Was: CapturedHave you all had a fabulous week?

Thank you to all of you who linked up last week; I hope you all manage to link up again!

The rules are simple; link up a post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary.

My week…
This week has been great, although fairly hectic!

Sunday saw my bridesmaid and her husband come round for lunch. We hadn’t seen them for a while so it was wonderful to catch up. She also tried on the bargain bridesmaid dress I found in a charity shop for £10 and looked STUNNING in it! Wedding win! Oh, and I reached 200k page views on the blog!

Monday saw us visiting our wedding caterers and falling in love with her house and her dachshund puppy. We wanted a sausage dog before we met Myrtle, but now we want one even more! We ate a lot of tasty cakes and probably put on a stone in sugar…

Tuesday saw the start of my freelancing week. It was my first week doing it as my sole career and I’ve loved it!

Nick’s parents came down on Thursday, which has meant a bit more time to get some work done and get my head around WordPress. I’ll be moving the blog over there soon.

Busby hasn’t been very well this week sadly. She’s been ill for a while now, but her conjunctivitis has taken a turn for the worse, and I had to battle with the Doctor for more antibiotics as it’s just not clearing up.

Nick and I had our first date night in almost two months on Friday and may have gotten rather tipsy… We also went shopping for our wedding rings on Saturday, which we found pretty pronto! Eek!

 1. Mummy and Baby selfie (Sunday) // 2. 200k page views! (Sunday) // 3. My grown up Busby (Monday) // 4. Tea and cake break (Tuesday) // 5. A surprise package from The Body Shop (Friday) // 6. My date night dress (Friday) // 7. Waiting for the bus for date night to start (Friday) // 8. Vino (Friday) // 9. The poor West Pier (Saturday)

I can’t wait to read all of your posts this week! What have you been up to?

Sounds like a busy but fun week! That cake looks scrummy, as does the wine! Good luck with your freelance career and watching with interest as you switch to WordPress. I may do the same with mine at some point. Do you loose all your followers? I’m not sure how it works….
