The Week That Was: Captured #34

Hey there! Welcome to The Week That Was: CapturedHave you all had a wonderful week?

Thank you to all of you who linked up last week; I hope you all manage to link up again!

The rules are simple; link up a post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary.

My week…
I may have taken quite a few photos this week!

Monday saw Busby and I heading to a friends house for a play-date. We had a lovely afternoon in her gloriously beautiful house!

I ended up at the Doctors on Tuesday as it turns out I have two infections in both ears. Joyful.

I was working on Wednesday so nothing major to report.

Busby and I had a lovely day in Lewes and at home on Thursday… and got caught in a rainstorm on the way back from Waitrose!

Friday saw me head up to London to The Baby Show, Busby-less! I had a fantastic time chatting to other Bloggers and some wonderful brands. Big shout out to Cosatto for the immense macaroons and OOBA friendliness! I’ll be writing more about The Baby Show next week as saw some great products.

Nick headed up to join me in the evening as we had booked a beautiful 5* hotel (for a ridiculously reduced price) where we received a free upgrade. Win! We drank far too much prosecco and ate some delicious food, before drifting off to sleep in the huge bed. Bliss!

Saturday was another Busby-free day. We celebrated our freedom with a cup of tea in bed, followed by a yummy (and grease-filled) breakfast at the hotel. We then spent over an hour on a rail replacement bus to visit our friends in Balham. Once we finally arrived we had a gorgeous lunch and a leisurely stroll around Balham Common in the sunshine.

 1. Swag (Sunday) // 2. Busby and I had a morning of “drawing” and sticking (Monday) // 3. An exciting delivery! (Monday) // 4. Flooded Lewes (Monday) // 5. Taking her toys to her friend The Washing Machine (Monday)
 6. A long day at Nursery (Tuesday) // 7. Tulips in Yellow (Wednesday) // 8. My new recruit! (Wednesday) // 9. A well needed gin (Wednesday) // 10. Sleepy cuddles (Thursday)
 11. Enjoying her chocolate biscuit (Thursday) // 12. Amazing trousers (Thursday)

 The Baby Show! (Friday)
1. Love this t-shirt // 2. Lovely Cosatto // 3. The fabulous Joie Test Track // 4. Beautiful Stokke Sleepi

Parental Freedom (Friday night and Saturday)
1. The lift in our hotel // 2. The awesome view from our room // 3. London sunset // 4. Getting ready for dinner // 5. Tower Bridge // 6. Drunken light standing // 7. Holding up the sign // 8. Cup of tea in bed together! // 9. Beautiful view from our hotel

A fun-filled week – we really could have done with another night in that hotel though! So relaxing…

What have you been up to this week?
