Another month has swiftly flown past! It’s been a dramatic one, with an A&E visit and far too much sickness.
This month Busby has learnt some new words; “home” and “there” have been added to her repertoire. She’s doing wonderfully with her animal noises too – whenever we read “Spot goes to the farm” she moos, quacks, baas and oinks before we even lift the flaps. Amazing!
Busby is far more confident on her feet now, and we’ve had lots of fun walks up and down our road (and the very big hill), as well as exploring the parks and paddocks of Lewes.
She loves going to Nursery and now leaps out of Nick’s arms when he drops her off in the morning. We get reports of day-long smiles and compliments of how delightful she is.
Her best friend is still the washing machine, although the fridge-freezer has been added to the list of buddies. She has also come to terms with the hoover now, and enjoys putting objects (shoes, tiny socks, teddy) in front of it for me to hoover up.
Busby loves sharing and will happily feed Nick her dinner, or give her ball to a passer-by… It’s very charming!
Despite the drama it has been a lovely month, and she’s growing into such a beautiful little girl.
