The Week That Was: Captured #35

Hey there! Welcome to The Week That Was: CapturedHave you all had a fab week?

Thank you to all of you who linked up last week; I hope you all manage to link up again!

The rules are simple; link up a post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary.

My week…
This week has not been good! I contracted Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) and was unable to talk from Sunday evening until Wednesday as my tongue was so swollen and covered in ulcers. Joy. I then woke up with another ear infection on Friday morning…!

Nick also contracted HFMD, but luckily it’s just affected his hands and feet and hasn’t had the same effect on his tongue! It’s meant that he’s been off for most of the week too, as it’s an infection control issue in the hospital, so we’ve had some time together as a family… Even if we have felt rotten!

I’ve still managed to take quite a few photos this week.

1. Bedridden and catching up with some wedmin (Monday) // 2. Starting our wedding website (Monday) // 3. Surprise post from The Body Shop – review to follow (Wednesday) // 4. 7 months until our Wedding!! (Thursday) // 5. A surprise delivery of beautiful flowers from Nick’s parents (Thursday) // 6. Yellow! (Thursday) // 7. A peaceful walk back from Monkey Music (Friday) // 8. Waiting at the Doctors (Friday) // 9. My new bargain dress (Saturday)
A Week of Busby
1. Back home after Nursery (Tuesday) // 2. Boxes are so much fun! (Thursday) // 3. Concentrating hard on Mr Tumble (Friday) // 4. About to head into Monkey Music (Friday) // 5. Lazy morning in bed (Saturday) // 6. Riding (Saturday) // 7. Toddling outside! (Saturday) // 8. Mad walking skills (Saturday) // 9. “Lemme in the park Mummy!” (Saturday)
I can’t believe it’s been a whole week since we had our night away… We could definitely do with a weekend away once all the sickness has cleared!

What have you been up to this week?

Oh I’m sorry you’ve been suffering with HFMD, Charles had it at 17 months. Ended up in A&E as an on call doctor diagnosed him with thrush and I knew there must be more to it than that. He didn’t have it as bad as you though.
I love your new dress, looks so pretty xx
