The Week That Was: Captured #37

Why hello there! Welcome to The Week That Was: CapturedHave you all had a fabulous week?

Thank you to all of you who linked up last week; I hope you all manage to link up again!

The rules are simple; link up a post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary.

My week…
Gosh, where do I start? This week has been emotionally exhausting! But it started off so well…

On Sunday we headed into Lewes for a picnic; we had a great day which you can read about here.

On Monday Busby and I went for lunch with two Mamas (and babies) from our postnatal class – it was delicious!

I worked on Tuesday and had one of those days where nothing went right.

I had a fantastic meeting with a client and her lovely pooch on Wednesday morning, followed by a massage from another client who I do a skill-swap with. This was followed by lunch with Nick. We were just about to tuck in when we received a phone call from my Mutti, who said that she was going to bring Busby down to A&E in Brighton because she couldn’t breathe properly. Buzz had been a bit poorly the previous day and that morning, so she was due to see the Doctor in the afternoon, but Mutti (with her Nurse Hat on) decided that A&E would be best. She was very right! We were admitted to the A&E ward and monitored carefully. We were finally discharged at 3am when her breathing finally started to improve with a nebuliser and steroids. She has a very bad chest infection and probably asthma, so we’ve got to keep in touch with the asthma Nurse. My Grandfather was also admitted to hospital with pneumonia! Not a great day…

Thursday was spent in a zombie-like state.

Things started to improve on Friday and we managed to go to Monkey Music (we both needed the normality more than anything). Saturday was spent de-moulding and tidying our house, which was in dire need of a Spring Clean!

Oh poor Busby – hope the trip to the ER wasn’t too traumatic and that she’s on the mend.
I just found your blog thanks to Hijacked by Twins (who I follow on Twitter) – so good to find another UK based blogger, we seem to be in the minority! Going to stalk you now 🙂

Christ. I panic so much whenever Charlie falls over, so that must have been terrifying having to rush her to A&E like that.
I’m glad she’s feeling better now.

I absolutely love the little outfits you put her in by the way, so many lovely patterns and bold colours! xx

Such lovely pictures, sorry you had a visit to A&E and hope all are recovered now – that inhaler gives me chills after having a son with recurrent brochiolitis as a baby. He’s nearly 4 now and finally seems to be getting through a cold without needing A&E!
This is my first time linking, hope to see you again in future! xx
