The Week That Was: Captured #38

Howdy! Welcome to The Week That Was: CapturedHave you all had a glorious week?

Thank you to all of you who linked up last week; I hope you all manage to link up again!

The rules are simple; link up a post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary.

My week…
This week has been much better than last (phew!).

On Sunday, we went for a picnic in The Paddock, which is a big, green, open space near our house. Busby was asleep for a lot of the eating, which meant that Nick and I could actually consume food in peace!

On Monday, Busby and I met up with my friend Laura and her baby for tea and cake at The Grange. It was great to catch up, as we hadn’t seen each other since Busby’s birthday in December!

On Tuesday, I worked on my new project.

On Wednesday, I headed to Brighton to the BritMums meet-up! It was lovely to catch up with bloggers; new and old, and chat lots. Nick and I went for lunch afterwards, and then I finally had a haircut!

On Thursday, Busby and I headed to the Doctor for her post-A&E visit review. Thankfully her chest sounds fine! We have to keep her on the inhaler, if and when she needs it. I then headed to London in the evening with my bestie Zoe, for the Not on the High street #BYOM (Bring Your Own Mum) event. (My Mutti was working) We had a fab time drinking champagne and chatting to other Bloggers. However, the evening took a turn for the worst when I received a phone call from Nick to say that Busby had fallen down the stairs, and that they’d spent a large chunk of the evening in A&E (again). Thankfully she was fine and doesn’t have a mark on her! It seems to be true what they say about babies bouncing!

On Friday, Busby and I went to our wonderful Monkey Music class, and then took another trip into Lewes in the afternoon after I realised I hadn’t picked up her inhaler prescription from Boots!

On Saturday, all three of us headed into Lewes to buy ingredients for dinner as my Mutti was coming over. Busby fell asleep on the journey in, so Nick and I took advantage of the quiet time and went for tea and cake with a sleeping baby! I spent the afternoon in the kitchen making flapjacks and macaroni cheese for dinner.
