Welcome to The Week That Was: CapturedHave you all had a fantabulous week?

The rules are simple; link up a post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary.

Last week…
I really enjoyed reading Julia’s post about her big decision, and of course her beautiful photos. I also loved Charlie’s funky toddler style in this post by Katie – what a dude! Baby Daniel is growing up very quickly, and I’m really enjoying watching him grow every week; thank you for sharing Jo!

Thank you to all of you who linked up last week; I hope you all manage to link up again!

My week…
This week has both flown and dragged – if you know what I mean? We’ve (thankfully) made some wedding planning progress.

On Sunday we decided to visit Nymans National Trust park, but Busby fell asleep pretty much as soon as we arrived so we sat in the car, waiting for her to have the appropriate length of nap. Nick went and found tea… and then it started to hail… for almost an hour, so we decided to drive back home!!

Monday was a fabulous day! I spent the whole day very excited as was meeting my Bridesmaid Zoe in Lewes after work to try on the wedding dress I’d seen in an antiques shop. It looked amazing (you can read about it here), so now I have two… I’ll be selling the first! I then met up with my Bridesmaids for a hen-do chat at the pub.

On Tuesday I worked.

On Wednesday I worked.

On Thursday Nick’s parents came to visit from Yorkshire; they took Busby for the day. I headed into Brighton for a well-needed eyebrow wax and did a spot of shopping. Nick and I then went out for date night in the evening to a very empty (but delicious) restaurant in Lewes!

On Friday we had Monkey Music in the morning, and then spent the afternoon with Nick and his parents. We had lots of positive wedding chatter… and a lot of wine!

On Saturday Nick’s parents came over for brunch, and then looked after Busby whilst we went cheese tasting for our wedding cake! (A very scrummy experience!) My Mutti then came over for tea and cake. We also started talking about our honeymoon.

1. Tea in the car (Sunday) // 2. My Wedding Planner (Sunday) // 3. Mesmerised (Monday) // 4. Homemade flapjacks (Tuesday) // 5. Melfie (Thursday) // 6. A small hint about my wedding outfit (Thursday) // 7. Burger (Thursday) // 8. Awesome outfit! (Friday) // 9. Tasty cake (Saturday)

What have you been up to this week?

We had EXACTLY the same experience at Nymans! We sat in the car in a hail storm and ate our packed lunch, then came home again whilst G slept! We did go back and it was fab. And a burger shot too…yummy! x
