Toddling and Exploring

The weather was amazing yesterday! It was our first outing without coats and, as the sun warmed our backs and freckled our faces (ok, freckled my face), we headed down to The Grange in Lewes for a picnic and toddle.

Busby had so much fun walking around and exploring! We haven’t had her feet measured yet for “real” shoes as the advice seems to be “wait until they’ve been walking properly for 8 weeks”, so she went toddling in her tights as we didn’t want to get her beautiful Livie and Luca shoes filthy! Instead she got her Slugs and Snails tights very muddy, but nothing that a touch of stain remover can’t fix.

Toddles
Playing with the ball
Stretching
Muddy toes!
Enjoying the flowers.
Down the big slide with Daddy!
Being chased by a Busby!
Falafel chops!

Busby’s favourite picnic snack was falafel… She kept raiding our fruity couscous, but every time she put some in her mouth she gave a look of “urgh” and took it out again.

She made friends with an (older) little girl by pointing at her shoes and then toes. It was very sweet to watch as the little girl tried to hug her… and was promptly pushed away (we’ll have to work on that one).

All the photos are taken on my iPhone 5S. I really am loving this phone!
