Hello you lovely lot! Welcome back to The Week That Was: Captured!
Have you all had a great week?
The rules are simple; link up one post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary. Please only link up relevant posts.
Tillie’s post made me very jealous that we no longer live in Brighton! Grubbs is one of our favourite places to grab a burger… Lovely Kirsty and her husband celebrated their Wedding Anniversary last week, and it sounds like they had a fabulous time! Suzanne had lots of gorgeous outdoor fun with her children over the Easter holidays, and I especially loved the photos of the bluebells.
This week has been very up and down, and I’m blaming the weather for this! It has been rather exciting though, as two of my suppliers have sent stock for The Little Geekery Company and we’re almost ready to launch when we get back from holiday… I’m rather terrified! Anyway, our week:
On Saturday we headed to Nymans National Trust property for a picnic with Nick’s parents and my Mutti. It was gorgeous! I got my craft on in the evening.
We had Nick’s parents and my Mutti over for Easter dinner on Sunday, which was cooked by Nick (and was very delicious)!
On Monday we headed over to Nick’s parents place in Littlehampton for a BBQ.
On Tuesday life went back to normal and I worked… and developed a filthy cold!
On Wednesday I worked.
On Thursday I headed into Brighton (alone) for a haircut and some well-needed “me” time! I met Nick from work, and we went out for dinner to Pizza Express with his parents and brother who was also down from Yorkshire.
On Friday we went Monkey Music (yay!) which has restarted for the summer term. I got very soggy on the walk back! I then had to deal with a frustrated toddler in the afternoon, who didn’t understand that going outside in the rain would make both of our colds worse! I think I need to consult Pinterest for rainy day toddler activities.
On Saturday we pottered around the house and into Lewes for essentials. Busby and I explored the park, which is just down the road from us; although it’s not in a very nice area we discovered that it’s very empty, and has some great things! We had lots of fun on the wobble board (together), and she loved sitting on my lap on the “big” swings.
