This month, although lovely, has certainly been trying! From toddler tantrums to seeing how far she can push it, we have experienced a rather trying month from Busby. But it’s all learning isn’t it?
Her walking has come on leaps and bounds this month, and she has been trying to jump. We’ve had a few almost-attempts off the bottom step on the stairs (with my heart in my mouth and arms open to catch, just in case), but she hasn’t quite mastered it yet.
Busby slept in a “big bed” for the first time while we were on holiday in the Lake District! She fell out once and, on the whole, seemed to sleep very well. We’ll be taking the bars off her cot in the coming weeks.
Busby’s favourite book is currently Five Minutes Peace and her favourite song is Twinkle, twinkle, little star which I had to play on the piano countless times when we were up North on holiday!
Talking of the piano, the Grandparents piano has been a great hit this month; for playing and dancing to. Busby has also become slightly obsessed with stickers… and she is really enjoying drawing and creating.
Her words are definitely coming along. This month we’ve heard “tractor” and “hot” (pronounced “hawt” which has made us giggle a lot). She’s starting to try and put words together, as we’ve had “baby bear” a few times now.
Busby’s hair is growing at a rate of knots! I’m rather jealous of her curly blonde locks.
