If I had three wishes…*
What would you wish for if you had three wishes? I’ve thought long and hard about is. Obviously a night nanny springs to mind at the moment… actually, scrap that, a live-in nanny would be rather handy. Or live-in help including my own personal masseuse, stylist and hair and make-up team. I also thought about wishing for the body of Beyonce and calorie-free cake… but that’s a little self-centred…
However, with my slightly more coherent and sensible hat on, this is what I would wish for:
1. A reduction in the price of houses.
This would be a wish for our country. House prices are insane at the moment and, as we’re looking to buy in the very near future, I would definitely wish for a 50% cut in house prices! Or at least a house price limit i.e. “a 3 bed house can’t be more than £200k in this area”. The very small, very damp, very dark house we rent at the moment is currently worth over £300k, which is madness. We’re considering a move to Yorkshire, and this is a big reason for our possible relocation!!
2. Enough money for my family and friends to be comfortable for life, (as well as us)!
I don’t know whether this would be considered a selfish wish – I should probably wish for world peace – but money is the thing that we all worry about. It would be so nice not to have to worry about money; to be able to afford a house that was suitable for our (hopefully) growing family, to be able to go on holiday without thinking “how will we pay for this?”, to be able to have conversations that aren’t about money!
Oh, and after 20 years on my wish list, I could finally have my own horse.

3. Two more wishes!
This was Nick’s suggestion, and it’s a wise one! I’m not sure what I’d use my final two wishes for, but I’ve got time to mull. Ending poverty is high on the list, as is general world happiness.

The Millionaire Genie is a new game from 888ladies that grants wishes. With a chance to win £450,000 on one lucky spin, it’s definitely worth a go if you’re looking for a fun night in and a chance to make some of your wishes come true. (I could definitely buy a horse or three for £450,000!)
