(I) Do: An Update
I haven’t written one of these for a while! I can’t believe that there are only 3 months, 2 weeks and 3 days to go… It’s all going very quickly!
Where to begin?
Well, our invitations (that I designed with my very own hands) are back from the printers. We’ve given a couple out already and have had fantastic feedback! Everyone seems to love the wedding website too (phew)! We just need to go to the Post Office now and buy 60ish stamps…

The dress… Don’t worry – I haven’t bought another one. But I have had a crazy vision and I’m merging the two dresses together to make a “super dress”. My lovely friend Becky (of Magnificent Stanley) is going to be creating the vision and I can’t wait to see it once it’s finished! We’ve also solved the issue of Busby’s flower girl dress, as we’re going to use the silk from the bottom of wedding dress #2 to make her a beautiful mini gown. I’m very excited!!
I found my wedding shoes in my favourite shoe shop Irregular Choice and managed to source the last mint green pair in the whole company. Eek! I thought for about five minutes that I would have to rethink the shoes, but luckily the ladies in the store were amazing.

I’m still debating what to do about the veil. My Mutti has her veil, which is beautiful, but the 1920s theme would suggest a lace cap with veil… We’re going to visit Portobello Road in a few weeks and have a look at the antique lace stalls to see what we can find, so watch this space.
I’ve sorted our wedding flowers! I’m so excited about these as they will be so beautiful and natural.
We still need to:
Order our wedding favours. We’ve finally decided on these… and they are gooooood!
Book our honeymoon. We’ve decided to go to the Lake District rather than Italy as I don’t have the time to sort my passport etc at the moment, and if we really miss Busby we won’t be too far away. We’re going to do five days of gourmet eating, because if I do become pregnant, I won’t be able to eat/drink all of those things for 9 months+!!
Start crafting! I need to step away from Pinterest and start making things! I’ve decided to borrow/hire most of our bunting, which has taken a huge weight off my mind as I really don’t have the time to make that much bunting!!!
I think the next few months are going to fly by…!
