Make // Dinosaur Place Name Holders

If you follow me on Instagram then you will have seen lots of photos of dinosaurs this weekend. I’ve been busy crafting away for the wedding, and I’ve decided to share one of my creations with you because, quite frankly, I’m fairly rubbish at keeping things to myself. (I won’t be revealing the purpose of the silver beauties until the Big Day though!)

Here are my homemade dinosaur place name holders, with a handy little step-by-step if you fancy giving them a go! They are great as place name holders for kid (or adult) parties, as photo holders, or even place name holders at an “alternative” wedding! I’ve made these for our wedding cheese table to hold the tasting notes.

What you’ll need:
Plastic dinosaurs (I found these on Amazon: £1.50ish for 12!)
Spray paint
Gardening wire (make sure it’s malleable!)

1. Gather your herd // 2. Spray them! // 3. Take 30cm of wire and make two loops at the top for holding your place name cards or photos. I found looping the wire around my finger was the easiest way to create a loop // 4. Wind the other end of the wire around the dinosaur
Et voila!

They’re so simple and I think they look really roar-some!
