Busby was sent a selection of clothes from the Nutmeg range at Morrisons a few weeks ago to try. I’d come across the Nutmeg range when we were in the Kendal store for the #MorrisonsMum challenge, and fell in love with an amazing robot t-shirt for Busby (which I bought – you may have seen it on my Instagram feed). I had been impressed at how reasonably priced everything was, and couldn’t wait to put the garments we’d been sent through the toddler test!
We were sent a selection of boys and girls clothes to try after I explained to the PR team that I dress her in both. We were sent age 2-3 in all the clothes, except for the sandals which are 12-18 months. The baby range goes up to 18 months and the children’s range starts at 18 months.

My favourite item is definitely the dinosaur jumper, which is fantastic value at only £7! It’s a bit big at the moment, but I can see Busby getting lots of wear out of it in the Autumn/Winter.
The fabric doesn’t feel “cheap” and the majority of items are 100% cotton. As I said above, everything is reasonably priced and fantastic for everyday wear.
Anything not-so good?
I loved the dinosaur sandals as soon as I saw them in the Look Book, however, they are not easy to walk in at all, and therefore have only been used as pram shoes.
The majority of children are at least cruising at 12-18 months, so this should be taken into consideration by Nutmeg; they really aren’t safe to walk in outside.
The leggings are fantastic value for money (a twin pack for £5) and are probably the items Busby has worn the most. They’ve been washed numerous times and still look great!
I also surprised myself by falling in love with the white embroidered tunic (see images above) – it’s not something I’d usually dress Busby in, but Nick and I really loved it, and she seemed very comfortable running around the playground in it. Perfect and cool for our summer picnics.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Nutmeg clothing to other parents looking for good quality, everyday clothes that are comfortable for children to wear. Unfortunately, we don’t have a Morrisons near us that stocks Nutmeg, but I would definitely buy more clothes from here in the future (especially if they keep designing items with robots and dinosaurs on). You can find your nearest stockist here.
