The Week That Was: Captured #51
Hi there! Welcome to The Week That Was: Captured!
Have you all had a lovely week?
The rules are simple; link up one post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary. Please only link up relevant posts.
I loved Lori’s (Lori and the Caravan) post last week – the photos were stunning and I completely agree with her on children needing green space to run around. Well, obviously I needed to bring Vicky’s (Ville de Brighton) dinosaur party to your attention! I feel quite inspired by this for Little People goodies at the wedding… I really enjoyed new linker-upper Helen’s (The Princess and The Pickle) adventure-filled post – it looks like they had a great week!
Nothing has really happened this week; it’s been quite normal… which has been nice!
It was Father’s Day on Sunday so I made Nick and Busby scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast, and then we had a very chilled out day. We were going to have a picnic, but the weather wasn’t amazing so we bought some very tasty cheesecake from Waitrose and ate that at home. We headed to The Paddock in the afternoon for a run around.
Monday was also fairly rubbish weather-wise. Busby and I headed to the local park in the morning for an hour to run off some energy and then she had an epic nap on our bed in the afternoon. My Mutti came over for a cup of tea as she’d just got back from Greece.
I worked on Tuesday and Busby had a lovely day at Nursery by the sound of it!
Wednesday was a lovely day! Mutti came over and took Busby out for lunch whilst I caught up on a bit of work, and then we all headed over to Lindfield to check the chair covers and measure up tables in the village hall for our Wedding! Busby and the family dog, Basil, had fun playing in the garden together and then she had dinner and a bath at my Mutti’s for the first time. Nick was working late, but we ended up getting back about the same time as him – he was happy to see Busby before she went to bed.
I woke up with an awful headache on Thursday so our plans to meet with friends were postponed (very sadly). Nick ended up taking the day off work to look after Busby as my head was so bad. Not good!
I woke up to a lovely surprise on Friday morning – my Tots100 score had changed! 146 is my best score yet (very exciting)! We also had Monkey Music in the morning and it was Monkey’s 21st birthday so we had a party! I then had my haircut in the afternoon in preparation for the wedding we attended on Saturday.
What have you been up to this week?
