The Week That Was: Captured #52
Hi there! Welcome to The Week That Was: Captured! I can’t believe I’ve been doing this for a whole year!!!
Have you all had a wonderful week?
The rules are simple; link up one post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary. Please only link up relevant posts.
I really enjoyed Chelle’s (Unique and Chic) update last week – although sounds like her Boy Bump is going to be a pesky one! I thought Karen’s (Mad Cats Babies) post about Michael Gove was spot on last week, and really enjoyed reading about her daughter’s swimming achievement! It was lovely to hear about Amanda’s (City Girl Gone Coastal) few weeks – I especially loved her lego pictures!
Exhausted just about sums it up. I’m suffering from anxiety-induced insomnia and, when I finally drop off, I’m not sleeping well at all! We have had some lovely moments though… despite the matchsticks propping up my eyes. Thank goodness I’ve rediscovered coffee is all I have to say!
On Sunday we attempted to recover from our very late night at the wedding… and then went to a garden party! The sun shone, I sipped prosecco and ate cake. It was a good afternoon.
Mutti had Busby on Monday afternoon; I wanted to get some work done before Tuesday, as we had plans to go shopping for her outfit.
Sadly Tuesday’s shopping trip didn’t happen, but it did mean my day was a little less busy and I had a lovely walk into Lewes to visit the post office. I also caught up with some wedmin.
Busby and I had a quiet morning on Wednesday and then headed to the other side of Lewes for a playdate and well-needed catch up with a friend.
My sunglasses well and truly broke on Thursday morning, so I decided that we’d go into Brighton to buy some… We met Nick for lunch, I bought my new sunglasses and then I found the most gorgeous clutch that I will be using on our wedding day.
I felt dead on my feet on Friday as Busby had been up in the night (and it had taken me a few hours to get to sleep anyway!) Nevertheless, we still went to Monkey Music in the morning and then had a picnic in The Paddock for lunch. Busby refused to nap all day, and both of us were ready for bed by the time 7pm came! I started worked on the crafting for our wedding, and then he gave me a glorious foot rub after my bath to help me get to sleep. He’s a good ‘un!
Oh, and Friday saw the final countdown begin; only three months to go until the wedding!
After the Postman delivered lots of happy (wedding-related) post, we all headed to Hove on Saturday morning to visit Wickes and Staples in search of wedding supplies. I found the mdf I wanted, but not the paper I need for the order of services… We spent the afternoon in the park playing.
What have you been up to this week?
