Wedding Guest Beauty Essentials

We attended a lovely wedding over the weekend; both parties said “I Do”, the sun shined and the music kept us dancing until slightly later than intended! I wore my beautiful new Henry Holland flamingo dress that I’m so in love with, and Nick and I looked rather dapper, if I do say so myself!

I used some wonderful products over the weekend to keep me looking and feeling great, and these are just some of my wedding day guest beauty essentials!

Elle Macpherson’s Heel Smoother (£19.99 RRP)
It may not be the sexiest thing I’ve ever been sent but it really works!

It took me a little while to get my head around the instructions, but my heels have never been so smooth. It’s a must-have product for anyone that suffers from dry heels in the summer, and ideal for all wedding guests (and Brides!) wearing shoes where dry heels might be on show.

The Heel Smoother has a chamber which collects the dead skin from your feet, and means it’s very easy to clean.

The Heel Smoother can be purchased from Argos.

The following products are from The Body Shop and can be found on The Body Shop website.

All-In-One BB cream 25ml (£12 RRP)
I’m fairly new to BB cream and especially love my Tea Tree BB cream from The Body Shop when I’m having a bad skin day, but this All-In-One BB cream is rather magical! The white cream cleverly adapts to your skin-tone, releasing colour when you apply to your skin. You have to blend it to create the perfect match, but it’s an incredibly even finish. It’s also super light, so you don’t feel like you’re wearing layers of make-up, which makes it ideal for summer weddings!

Super Volume Mascara 10ml (£10 RRP)
I’ve been searching for a new mascara for a while now, and I was very happy when this arrived! It is very light but still manages lots of volume. My only criticism is that it’s not waterproof, so if the Groom’s speech is particularly teary you could end up looking like a panda.

Colour Crush Lipstick 3.5g (£10 RRP)
I have a few of these now and they are so beautiful! Full of moisture and colour, and they’re infused with a subtle rose scent.

Brow & Liner Kit 3g (£10 RRP)
I’d never used a brow and liner kit prior to the weekend, but this handy little set has revolutionised my brows… Fantastic for neatening and defining your brows, which is great if you completely forget to book yourself in for a wax prior to the event!

Vitamin C Skin Reviver 30ml (£14 RRP)
And for the morning after the night before… This product is a gem! The vitamin shot (enriched with vitamin C from the wild Amazonian camu camu berry, which contains up to 60 times more vitamin C than oranges), together with Community Fair Trade Brazil nut oil from the Peruvian rainforest, helps enhance your skin’s natural glow. Also works as a fab base for make-up.

What are your beauty essentials when attending a wedding?
