(I) Do // The Beauty Trial
There are only two months and 4 days left until the wedding; cue headless chicken-esque panic…!!!
This means that the final preparations are starting to take place… And boy, oh, boy, I cannot wait for the honeymoon!
I had my hair and make-up trial this week. It’s been booked for months, so I’ve been eagerly anticipating this day for a while. We’ve hired the amazing Nicky from Pretty Pout to transform Mutti, Zoe and I. I originally met Nicky when she did my hair and make-up for our engagement shoot at the Photography Farm back in January – we got on really well and I loved the look she achieved, so I thought I’d see whether she could do my Bridal face! Thankfully she said yes, and ours will be the last wedding she does for a while, as she’s expecting her first baby in November! Eek! (As you can imagine, her beautiful bump did not ease my broodiness one bit…)
I’m not going to post photos of the finished product on the blog until after the wedding as I don’t want to ruin the surprise, but we’ve gone for a really natural look as I don’t really wear much make-up. I felt so beautiful and a little bit radiant once she’d finished with my sleep deprived, slightly worn face.
|Here’s a wee taster!|
Maintaining my reigning title as United Kingdom’s Most Indecisive Bride (I feel like this needs to be an award…) I have three hair styles to choose from! Obviously! Two are very similar and very “Bridal”, and then one is very 1920s… I love them all, so I think it’s going to take me flouncing around in my dress for a while to decide which style to go for.
The next two months are going to fly by, aren’t they?
