The Week That Was: Captured #54
Hello, hello! How are you? Welcome to The Week That Was: Captured!
Have you all had a fantabulous week?
The rules are simple; link up one post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary. Please only link up relevant posts. Also, if you fancy commenting on other people’s posts that would be super too – everyone loves a comment!
Last week was Grumpy Cat’s birthday in The Mad House of Cats and Babies household! I also enjoyed the photos from the British Transport Museum – it’s definitely somewhere I want to take Busby. I loved the look of Katie’s (Hook, Line & Sink Her) merged peanut butter cookies – nom! Oh my gosh – Baby I (Mrs Matt) is so adorable! I loved the photo of him in the trolley!!!
Again this week has been up and down… although the end of it seriously rocked!
On Sunday I was feeling quite exhausted so spent a lot of the day in bed, working on wedding “stuff”!
On Monday Busby and I headed into Lewes and got some yummy picnic things, and had a picnic at The Paddock.
I worked on Tuesday. I also had a meeting with my “superdress” creator!
I had a really low day on Wednesday – my anxiety was in a horrible place due to a number of things… It didn’t help that I hadn’t really slept at all the night before either. I spent a lot of the day feeling miserable.
However, Thursday was infinitely better as Busby and I headed up to London to attend a fabulous event hosted by Amazon! I finally met Aby from You Baby Me Mummy and Donna from Red Head Baby Led, and their lovely little people, as well as catching up with Jaime from The Oliver’s Madhouse and Becky from Munchies and Munchkins. We had, what I would consider, a pretty awesome parenting day with no tantrums, no shouting (from either of us) and lots of fun! I wrote about it here if you fancy a read.
We had Monkey Music on Friday morning so we ran to that in the rain (we were running a little bit late after a dirty nappy – why do they always occur right as you’re about to leave??) and then we had a lovely Mummy lunch date in Pizza Express with a friend from our class and her daughter. Busby and I spent the afternoon colouring and singing. Nick was supposed to be away for the weekend, but alas he broke down on the M25 and had to be towed back to Lewes!
I’m writing this on Friday night, so who knows what Saturday will bring! We’re off to my Aunt’s 50th birthday party though, so I imagine copious amounts of prosecco and cheese!!!
What have you been up to this week?
