Make, Do and List // Week Five

I haven’t joined in with Mums’ List for a few weeks due to life and general busy-ness, but I’m back for now!

This week (and a bit) we have been:
Dexter. We’ve become a little bit obsessed with Dexter here at Make, Do and Push! Towers having recently discovered it on Amazon Prime. The script is pretty cheesy, but it’s charming in its own way… and is fairly gruesome! Definitely something I’d recommend if you’re looking for a series to watch.

We went out on our first parent date with another Mama and Papa last Thursday evening. It was so much fun! It was lovely to be able to chat about being a parent with people who also understand what it’s like to be a parent. Obviously we love our friends who don’t have kids (we love you guys a lot!) but it’s nice to be able to socialise with other people who completely “get” where you’re coming from, and who enjoy talking about their children too.

My birthday! I turned 27 on Sunday, so (following a rather sleepness night, due to Busby) we had a wonderful picnic in Baxter’s Field with family and lots of tasty food… and prosecco! Nick and I then went out into Brighton for dinner and drinks in the evening.

We also celebrated two years of engagement on Monday… and Make, Do and Push!’s new Tots100 score of 101 on Wednesday!

Oh, and we saw the final countdown to our wedding begin on Wednesday – one month to go! Eek!

I am absolutely in love with my Shea perfume from The Body Shop at the moment. It smells so beautiful and vintage, with hints of talcum powder and other comforting aromas. I’ve decided it’s going to be my wedding day scent.

The final bits and bobs for the wedding. I’ve been busy crafting away for the hall – it’s all looking pretty good (if I do say so myself) and I can’t wait until we can set up the night before!

We’ve also started talking about Baby Number 2 in a real way – which is very exciting (possibly even more exciting than the wedding… possibly)!
