The Week That Was: Captured #74
Howdy! Welcome to The Week That Was: Captured! Have you had a wonderful week?
The rules for #TWTWC are simple; link up one post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary. Please only link up relevant posts. Also, if you fancy commenting on other people’s posts that would be super too – everyone loves a comment!
Katie’s (Doing a lot with a little) post made me feel very excited for Christmas last week. I love the sound of the foodie Christmas market on the South Bank, and am already regretting our move to Yorkshire just for this reason!!
I really enjoyed Clare’s (Emmy’s Mummy) post last week – it was so lovely to read about Emmy’s award and the chocolate Yule log she made looked absolutely amazing!
Mini Travellers had me craving the warm weather in their post last week. They visited Lanzarote in November, which is something I’d never think of doing – but it’s still super warm and looks gorgeous! Maybe a holiday for next year…
I’ve been a bit pants at taking photos this week – it’s been a combination of crazy busy-ness and total exhaustion. I’ve been in bed by 9.30-10pm most nights and have fallen asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow! But we’ve moved! Successfully! Hurrah! With the help of some amazing friends we managed to get everything up North, everything down South cleaned and presentable, and have (just about) retained our sanity.
Sunday was spent cleaning our house… Two of our absolutely amazing friends came over to help, as Nick was driving back from Yorkshire until about 2pm! We finished cleaning about 8pm… Snore!!
We said au revoir to Sussex on Monday afternoon and drove to Yorkshire! Busby was amazing on the car journey! We stopped at trusty Pizza Express in beautiful Stamford for dinner, and made it to Yorkshire for 10pm! At which point all three of us headed straight to bed.
Tuesday was spent moving boxes upstairs and getting settled in Nick’s parents house.
We didn’t do much on Wednesday either!
I headed over to Bolton on Thursday to attend the SS15 Press Launch for Cosatto. I spent a wonderful day eating cake, catching up with Bloggers I hadn’t seen for ages and coveting the new range and beautiful designs! I even went down the Cosatto staff slide, which was pretty exciting!
Friday was spent feeling pretty frazzled after the busy-ness of Thursday, so we relaxed around the house. I had a nap in the afternoon which helped. I’d forgotten how glorious a nap can be!
I attended something rather exciting on Saturday morning (which I can’t reveal quite yet) and then we all headed over to Wakefield in the afternoon to buy Busby some brand new boots, and some Christmas crafty bits for Busby and I to do next week when Nick starts his new job.
What have you been up to this week?
