What Mama Wore // Yummy Mummy Maternity

I’ve mentioned previously how desperately I regret not taking many bump shots when I was pregnant with Busby, so I’ve been making up for it this time round…! The lovely folk at Yummy Mummy Maternity (based in my home town of Brighton and Hove) got in touch and asked me to choose something from their wonderful collection of maternity clothes. I had lots of fun browsing through their website, and came across this gorgeous Mamalicious Darla Stripe Knitted Maternity Dress.

Dress: Yummy Mummy Maternity // Coat: Charity shop find // Bag: Madden Girl // Scarf: Christmas Present (no idea where from!) // Boots: Primark

Peppercorn and I love a good stripy number at the moment, so it was perfect for dressing my bump in! I’ve been really impressed with the dress; it fits my figure perfectly – the stripes hiding the lumps I don’t want people to see, and emphasising the bump I want everyone to notice!
17 weeks pregnant
It is a wrap style dress, but without actually having to physically wrap it across yourself – which means wardrobe malfunctions in the growing bosom area won’t be happening! It’s incredibly comfortable to wear, and is perfect for Mamas-to-be who already have children as it’s very easy to move in… and pick up toddlers in!

The dress is made from jersey fabric, which is very soft and stretchy, meaning the dress will grow with me throughout my pregnancy. I love that I can dress it up and down; it’s perfect for every occasion from lunches out, to smart-casual office wear.

The Mamalicious Darla Stripe Knitted Maternity Dress is available to buy on the Yummy Mummy Maternity website for £35, which is a fantastic price for an item of clothing that will see you throughout your pregnancy.
