If you haven’t heard of the Project B box before, then let me explain. Project B is a monthly subscription box suitable for ladies from week 12 of pregnancy. Each box has a theme, and contains a variety of different products, from pampering to super tasty, healthy snacks. The boxes also contain cards detailing expert advice for that period of your pregnancy.
I’m very excited to be working with Project B throughout my pregnancy – this is my fourth box, and has the theme of “Relax”! You can read my first three reviews here. I’m definitely feeling more energetic than I was a few weeks ago, so I couldn’t wait to see what was in the box.
Eisberg Alcohol-free Wine (75cl): I’m not a huge fan of white wine as it is, so alcohol-free white wine just seems a bit pointless to me… but with my pregnant hat on, I understand why this will appeal to some. It’s not my cup of tea.
Maternelle Mum-to-be Relaxing Bath Soak (250ml): That’s more like it! This is a beautiful, soothing bath soak that smells gloriously of lavender and is very relaxing. In fact, writing about it makes me want to have a bath right this second…! It’s also dermatologically tested, so ideal if you have sensitive skin.
Shea Mooti Mama’s Nourishing Body Cream (185g): A lovely body cream that’s ideal for dry, pregnant skin. It’s very nourishing and is made from organic sunflower oil, aloe vera and shea butter. It’s also free of parabens, artificial fragrances etc, so it’s great for your skin.
Bio Oil (sample): The box contained two very small sample packs of Bio Oil, which are quite useful for nights away. I do like Bio Oil, but do find it quite greasy to use.
I would have liked to see a little more in this box as it felt a bit empty; perhaps a candle, or book on positive birth would be a good addition? Also chocolate… because we all know how relaxing munching chocolate in a bubble bath is!
The boxes cost £14 per month and you can sign up for your monthly Project B box online. These boxes would make a truly lovely, thoughtful gift for a friend or loved-one as they take the Mama into consideration!
I’m looking forward to box number five arriving, as the theme is “prepare”, which is something I really need to start doing!
