Review // The My FREE 2C 4-in-1 Globber Scooter

Review // The My FREE 2C 4-in-1 Globber ScooterBusby is something of an adrenalin junkie; she loves nothing more than going at top speed, no matter what she’s up to! So when we were offered a My FREE 2C 4-in-1 Globber Scooter to review I knew she would love it.

The My FREE 2C 4-in-1 Scooter from Globber is a fantastic concept; a scooter that grows with your child:

  • Stage 1: Designed for riders 12 months+, the scooter begins life as a balance bicycle with a handle for parental pushing or guiding with power-assisted steering.
  • Stage 2: Handle off from 15 months (or whenever you feel ready), your Little One now has free range in balance bike mode.
  • Stage 3: Seat off from 15 months (or, again,  whenever you feel ready) you can convert the balance bike into a mini scooter.
  • Stage 4: The height-adjustable handlebars mean that the scooter grows with your child until they’re approximately 6 years of age (50kg).

The My FREE 2C is ideal for helping your child develop balance, and assisting in learning to ride and master the scooter.

Busby has been using the scooter in Stage 2 mode since we received it a few weeks ago. Nick assembled the scooter for her (which he says was very easy and didn’t take more than 10 minutes), and she’s had a fantastic time whizzing around on it ever since!

Review // The My FREE 2C 4-in-1 Globber Scooter

The scooter is frequently used in her imagination play when she’s “going to the shops” or she’s “off to catch a train”! We’ve had to take the scooter everywhere with us, which is fine as it’s very lightweight, and is small enough to fit in the basket of the pushchair.

We’ve had lots of positive comments about the My FREE whilst out and about – so many people think it’s a wonderful, ingenious idea, which we agree with!

The My FREE 2C 4-in-1 Scooter comes in two colours; blue and pink, which I find disappointingly stereotypical. We opted for the blue scooter for Busby, and it’s very smart.

We’ll be converting the My FREE into Stage 3 in the coming weeks, but Busby is rather accident-prone so I’m not quite ready for running after her with Indy in the sling quite yet!

The My FREE 2C 4-in-1 Scooter from Globber costs £79.95 and is available to buy online from the Globber website.

Ps. Globber also makes scooters for adults… definitely required to keep up with the scooting Little People in your life!
