The Week That Was: Captured

The Week That Was: Captured #107

Hullo! Welcome to The Week That Was: Captured! Have you had a lovely week?

The rules for #TWTWC are simple; link up one post about your week (it doesn’t have to be the whole week – it can just be one day, or your weekend)! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary. Please only link up relevant posts. Also, if you fancy commenting on other people’s posts that would be super too – everyone loves a comment!

Last Week

I really enjoyed Caroline’s post last week! It looks like they’re having a fab summer holiday!

I was very envious of Jo’s decadent night out eating lobster… not so envious of the hangover, however!

Lisa’s post had myself and Nick (who was reading over my shoulder) in stitches. Very funny… and brave!

Our Week

I caught up with some sleep on Sunday morning; Nick took Indy downstairs and I slept until almost midday! Busby and I made some cupcakes in the afternoon, and Nick’s parents came over for tea and cake.

We had a lovely day on Monday; Busby did some painting in the garden and the three of us enjoyed the sunshine. The Health Visitor came over in the afternoon to weigh Indy and do his measurements.

Nick’s parents took Busby out for the day on Tuesday, so Indy and I just chilled at home.

Busby had Nursery on Wednesday morning. We walked into the village after I’d picked her up and bought some essentials. She declined a Costa Date, which was very unlike her, so we had to power walk back to the house as Indy needed a feed.

I’d hoped to pop into Beverley on Thursday, but Indy had other cluster-feeding ideas, so we spent the day in bed instead!

Friday was a lovely day; Franki and Luca (from Little Luca & Me) came over at lunchtime and spent the whole afternoon with us. Luca and Busby played beautifully together, and I think Busby has a bit of a crush!

We headed to a 30th birthday party of one of Nick’s work colleagues on Saturday. Sadly I spent half the time waiting in the car for Busby to wake up, and the rest of the time inside feeding Indy as it was too hot for him outside! Parenthood, eh?!

What have you been up to this week?

I love baby clothes! I really love those little cloud leggings – is my ten month old too young for me to be feeling broody again? Sounds like a lovely week – I secretly loved spending days in bed with my son when he was tiny and doing lots of clusterfeeding.

I remember those cloister feeding sessions well! Luckily they were most evenings so I wasn’t pinned to the soda all day. #twtwc

Such beautiful photos as usual! Jealous of a midday lie in. Not so jealous of the cluster feeding though.

makes for a dull evening sat in the car waiting on a toddler waking up.
How lovely you got a long lie but with a cluster feeding baby I bet it was much needed.
Love the sibling picture, and laughed at painting dots with her nose.
