The Week That Was: Captured #112… and au revoir
Hullo! Welcome to The Week That Was: Captured! Have you had a good week?
So, after much deliberation, I have decided to stop #TWTWC for the foreseeable future. I hope to come back to it early next year, but at the moment I have so much on my plate with a newborn (who just does not sleep – my work days aren’t happening at the moment), a toddler, and lots of exciting work in the pipeline, that sadly I just don’t have time in my schedule to keep going every week. I hope you all understand.
From this coming Friday I will be co-hosting #FunkyKidFriday with the lovely Alex from Medicated Follower of Fashion. I’m jolly excited about this; #FunkyKidFriday is a long-standing linky (possibly the first ever kids fashion one) so I can’t wait to get my teeth into it and I hope you’ll pop along and link up! Alex is a super cool Mama, and we have very similar opinions on gender neutral clothes, and also home birth and hypnobirthing, so I hope we’ll make an awesome team!
I’m sure those of you who are regular readers (and Instagram followers) will have noticed my leaning towards the kids fashion angle recently, and I’m hoping to continue taking Make, Do & Push! in that direction – as well as get back into making things (other than babies) so I can feature my handmade clothes on the blog too!
Thank you so much to everyone who has linked up over the two years that I’ve been running #TWTWC – I’ve absolutely loved reading, watching and listening to your posts! This isn’t the end, and I’ll let you know once I’m back on my feet without a newborn who never sleeps and 101 outstanding deadlines to fulfil!
I will leave you with an image of our week – it’s certainly been another up and down week, but there have been some lovely moments. I was also asked to guest post on Mumsnet, which was jolly exciting and you can read my post here!
