Busby, Indy, Siblings

Siblings // October 2015

sibling october It’s a cliché, but how has another month passed?! Time is flying by and it won’t be long before we have a three year old and a six month old!

Despite Indy being such an intense baby, things are starting to get a teeny bit easier in terms of juggling the attentions of two children… As much as I don’t want to wish away this period of time, I am looking forward to him being able to sit up by himself, so I can put him down more and therefore be able to do things with Busby without him always in my arms. I think Busby is looking forward to having tea parties and picnics with him too!

Busby has warmed to Indy again this month, although I still don’t think she’s totally convinced about this ‘having a sibling’ malarkey! She has very good intentions however, and always tries to be as helpful as she can be… This has ended in tears a few times (from both children, and has resulted in a strong G&T for us parents), as she can be a little over-helpful…

Indy still absolutely adores Busby, and follows her with his head wherever she roams. He’s itching to join her running about, spinning and playing, and I’m so excited for the coming months when their friendship and relationship will continue to bloom.

You do make rather beautiful children lovely- Busby is just so smiley and gorgeous. It sounds like her heart is in the right place bless her, it does take some adjusting to having a baby around. x

The time really will just go faster and faster. It feels like moments since my Amy was the same age, yet she’s two in a couple of weeks.
