Review // OKIDO Magazine

okido reviewDid you know that before the marvellous Messy goes to OKIDO was a television programme, it started life as a magazine?

Aimed at ages 3 to 8, OKIDO is a bi-monthly arts and science magazine for children, which is jam-packed full of activities, games, stories and more!

Busby loves Messy goes to OKIDO on CBeebies and she is rather obsessed with magazines (seriously, every time we visit a supermarket, we are pulled to the magazine aisle immediately so she can choose one), so she was overjoyed to receive a few editions of OKIDO to explore and read.

The magazines have something for everybody (quite literally, as I have found Nick pouring over them in excitement a few times due to the science aspect!), and Busby has loved the creative activities so far – such as colouring, drawing, and the cut-outs, which are fabulous for imagination play.

The illustrations in OKIDO are absolutely gorgeous, and there’s so much to do in the magazine! I can’t quite believe they only cost £4 per issue, as they really are full to the brim with activities that will keep your little people entertained for hours.
