Children's Fashion, Indy, Review

What Indy Wore // Muddy Puddles

These days, more often than not, you will find me with a baby strapped to my chest. We do a lot of baby-wearing with Indy due to his reflux, and also because he’s a second child, and life is so much easier with him in a sling while I sort meals/run after Busby etc.

I’ve been looking for a cosy waterproof suit for Indy for a while now, as we keep getting caught in rainstorms on the way to pick up Busby from Nursery and he’s been getting fairly soggy, so I was very thankful to Muddy Puddles when they offered Indy a Baby 3-in-1 Scamp Suit to review.

The Scamp Suit is absolutely gorgeous – I am in love with the raindrop pattern and teal colour – it’s so on-trend at the moment! I’m also rather pleased with the pointy hood, which is lined with sherpa fleece, and makes Indy look even more elf-like.

The suit is super cosy; it has an inner, detachable fleece liner, which can be worn by itself, and is fully breathable.

The Scamp Suit is completely waterproof up to 5000m, and has been ideal on soggy days (of which there seem to be many in East Yorkshire). It has fully tapered seams for 100% waterproofness, and fold over hands and feet (up to 12 months suits only) for keeping fingers and toes dry and warm.

The suit also has reflective logos.

The Scamp 3-in-1 Suit costs £59 and is available to buy on the Muddy Puddles website. Indy wears size 6-12 months at 5 months old, which fits wonderfully everywhere, except for his little arms.

THE POINTY HOOD..! I love it; he looks like a little baby fairy who’s been set out to play on the grass. We’re constantly out and about with the twins and I can imagine that a reliable all-body waterproof rainsuit would come in handy at least once a week in the winter…
